[to top] Band Memoirs

This is perhaps our most disconnected project to date. Spike and Ed recorded their parts in California. We recorded Ran's guitar parts in Houston. And I finished final vocals and production in a third studio in Cypress, Texas. I think it all came together nicely.

Tackling this subject matter is a long time coming, and the timing is right to tell the story. Ed, Ran, and I were there that night. And our disgust with the events remains as strong as ever.

The b-side, “Fool's Ride,” is a tale of justice. I put this together from a drum part Spike recorded in early 2003 for some still unreleased material. Ed's part came from the recent session in California. Ran and I added new parts. It's ominous, yet joyous. I hope you like it.
